Glee

Hi Everyone!

Glee is a TV musical serial at Fox that I watch every Thursday. The first time that I watch, it was really funny for me because that’s about a choir and they sing a lot of popular song that I know. Today, in USA it’s on Second Season.

That serial it’s about a glee club of a McKinley School in Ohio, USA called “New Directions” that must to win the choir tournament to continue working in that school; however to participate in that competition the glee club must to have at least twelve persons, but they’ re only five. Nobody wants to join because the person who are part to it is really loser and no one wants to be loser.

The main character is William Schuster, an ex glee’s singer when he was at that school. Now he is a teacher who direct “New Directions” and he want to give back the prestige of the choir had when he sang there, because they won the glee’s national tournament. Now, with new voices, the Glee Club must to win a new space in McKinley School.

My Experience With The Earthquake

Hi Everyone!!
This week, we must to write about our experience with the earthquake. Well, that night I was in my house only with my mum and my sister because my dad wasn’t in the house. He was been operated that last Thursday and he was in the hospital. After we watch Viña del Mar’s Festival we went to bed to sleep, after a while my mum and my sister fell asleep, however I was awake. Suddenly, the earthquake began and quickly we got up and run to the door to go out from the house. But my mum had forgotten where the keys were and she took any key that she could found. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the correct keys…and we were the entire earthquake in the house. It was horrible! We could see how all the things fall from the ledges until the shaking of the ground finished. We pass the rest of the night in a neighbors’ house and when the sun came out we could to speak with my dad and fortunately, he was good…better than us because he was until with light and water and he was watching the news. We were really worried.
Well, and that’s my experience with the earthquake. See you!

It's the first time that I write in the web... well, perhaps I post in another webs but never in a blog. It's a little strange specially because I must to "say" everything in english, however I'll try to do my best and write interesting things...well I hope.
First of all, my name is Nelia González and I'm a Sociology's student of Universidad de Chile. It's my first year and, althought I'm here like a month, I like the most of the subjects, I'm really happy.
I created this blog because I want to write in English about how I've been at the college, about my life and everything... I think I would like to read about my classmates to meet them.
